This screening features a double bill of Henry Hanson's "Dog Movie" and "Puppy Girl." These two distinct films offer a double feature exploration of modern identity. "Dog Movie" is a microbudget improvised debut feature described as "the trans Curb Your Enthusiasm," chronicling a passive-aggressive queer couple whose lives are upended by adopting an elderly dog and dealing with an unemployed couch surfer. "Puppy Girl" is a gonzo documentary following a semi-delusional trans woman's journey to overcome sexual repression through puppygirl fetish porn.
