UnionDocs hosts the Ceres Food Film Festival for an evening of short films and discussion focused on food systems. The program includes "Barriga Llena, Corazón Contento" which traces a Ridgewood food pantry, "Lonely Whale: Seaweed Stories" exploring seaweed's potential, "Ice Cream Window" capturing a community tradition, "Guguta" connecting dessert-making with memory, and "Zen Brownie" about Greyston Bakery's Open Hiring model. The event concludes with a panel featuring Jordana Rubenstein-Edberg and Natalia Fuentes, co-director and producer of "Barriga Llena, Corazón Contento" respectively, moderated by Molly Surno, founder of Push Projects. A special drink tasting by Acid will also be offered.
