This program celebrates Marilyn Monroe's centenary, focusing on her films set in New York City. It highlights the iconic subway grate shot by legendary photographer Sam Shaw, whose work charting Monroe's career is featured in the book Dear Marilyn: The Unseen Letters and Photographs by Sam Shaw. The book contains newly discovered correspondence and remastered photographs from the 1940s–1960s, including behind-the-scenes material from The Seven Year Itch.
