This is the US Premiere and opening night film of Animation First 2026. The screening of Momoko Seto's film will be followed by a Q&A with the director herself, concluding with a celebratory reception. The film, a 76-minute French and Belgian production, has no dialogue and will be preceded by a 25-second bumper film created by École MoPA students. The film has received critical acclaim, winning the Paul Grimault Award at the 2025 Annecy International Animation Film Festival and the FRIPESCI Prize at the Cannes Film Festival.

Dandelion’s Odyssey with Momoko Seto (Director)

Two dandelion balls are the only survivors of a series of nuclear explosions that are destroying the Earth. At the end of their odyssey, they will find a new soil for the survival of their species.
