This screening features “River of Grass,” a cinematic reimagining of Marjory Stoneman Douglas's seminal 1947 work, “The Everglades: River of Grass.” The film delves into the ecological significance of Florida's wetlands and includes a journey with Miccosukee educator and activist Betty Osceola. Several screenings will be followed by Q&A sessions with director Sasha Wortzel, producers, lead participants, and other guests. A special screening on Sunday, October 26, includes a pre-screening performance by Angélica Negron.
